Welcome to my blog

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to read a little something about me.

I am a full time professional photographer in Calgary and pride myself in the field of wedding photography and call this my specialty.

Born just outside of London, England, I was always close to adventure. The love of the outdoors took me traveling throughout much of Europe, New Zealand and Canada. It was the beauty of The Rockies that kept me in Canada.

My frst career was in engineering but found that I spent more time outdoors photographing people and places. After much thought, I decided to change career paths and return to school specifically for professional photography. I graduated from The Western Academy of Photography in Victoria, BC and can firmly say it was the best thing I've ever done.

When I am not photographing, I am usually spending time with my amazing wife (Tammy) and baby Charlie or competing in triathlon events. I have participated in several full and half Ironman events and competed in the Half Ironman World Championships in Clearwater, FL in November 2007. I am very active and love the outdoors. No, I've not managed to qualify for Hawaii World Championships as I'm busy photographer and husband so I can only train so much. Balance is the key :)
